It's Summertime! Time for you to load up your BMW and join in the annual migration to the beach!

BMW European Delivery

Now is also a good time for taking advantage of the BMW European Delivery Program. There is nothing like being in Munich in late Fall and picking up your new BMW at the fantastic BMW Welt  delivery center, and then exploring Europe. There is generally about a 6% to 7%  savings when you do the European Delivery. BMW provides  insurance for 14 days, and you can drop your BMW off in a number of locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, or the Netherlands and your BMW will be shipped to me usually 6 weeks later. You can finance or lease with BMW Financial Services at special rates also. You order your BMW about 8 weeks before you want to go, and I take care of all your paperwork about 6 weeks before you go. Lufthansa offers 2 for 1 tickets for European Delivery customers. I can suggest a number of routes for you to explore in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. It is truly a magical experience!

Oktoberfest

If your European Delivery happens to be during the last 17 days of September, then you can experience the world famous Munich Oktoberfest. This festival has been going on since October 1810 and started as a celebration for the marriage of Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese. Prince Ludwig would later become King Ludwig , known as "Mad King Ludwig" for his obsession for building castles. He had 3 magnificent castles built, including the world famous Neuschwanstein castle that Walt Disney designed his Cinderella's Castle after. The local breweries in Munich all produce a special Oktobefest beer for just the festival. Last year 6.5 million people attended the Oktoberfest, and drank 7 million  liters of beer in 17 days!!

Every year,  huge beer tents are erected by the Munich breweries, which include Lowenbrau, Spaten, and Paulaner. The larger tents will hold 7,000 people! All 14 tents will hold close to 100,000 people. Food is served in the tents and by far the most popular item served is roasted chicken, which 500,000 chickens were served last year!

BMW Warranty

I , along with some of my customers,  recently received a letter in the mail, stating that it was the "2nd notice" on the front. It implies that it is from BMW. It states inside  that your BMW warranty is about to expire and it is URGENT that you call a toll free number listed in order to extend your warranty. This is NOT from BMW! It is from some company trying to sell you their warranty.

Please ignore the letter, and always remember that if you receive anything from BMW, it will have the BMW emblem on the letterhead. If you have any questions at all about your BMW warranty, just call or email me anytime and I can tell you the date that your warranty will expire.
